Amazing night at the NC Symphony
"I attended this concert with my 15 and 14 year old sons and all 3 of us were absolutely blown away!!! Before the concert started we were treated to several young musicians that were performing outside in the lobby and they all were very talented. Our seats were spacious and comfortable and I don't think there is a bad seat in the entire concert hall. We got there early and we were impressed at how convenient the parking was (right across the street). I would highly recommend this event to anyone interested in music and a great night out. The Yo-Yo Ma performance itself was probably one of the best I have ever seen."

I finally got tickets to see Yo-Yo Ma in concert after waiting over twenty years. Driving 8 hours to see him sing, I was disappointed by the seats despite the high price I paid. The concert turned out to be a letdown overall, with unfamiliar new songs dominating the performance. The audience remained mostly silent, only reacting to a few old songs that people had come to hear. Yo-Yo Ma's attempt at upbeat songs did not impress, and the special effects and audio quality were lacking. He should stick to his strengths in slow, romantic tunes. Despite his beautiful voice, I don't think I'll attend another one of his concerts. The experience felt like a waste of time and talent, even though he sounded great at times.
